David Michael Stefanick

David Michael Stefanick, 75, died October 7, 2008 at Hospice Savannah, Inc. He was born in Savannah, son of the late Michael G. Stefanick and Hortense Norman Stefanick. He was a graduate of Savannah High School and was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Stefanick retired after 35 years from the United States Postal Service as an Electronics Technician. He was a HAM radio operator, amateur airplane enthusiast and an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish and hunt.
Surviving are his lifelong companion, Jean Stefanick of Savannah; son and daughter-in-law, Michael G. and Leigh Stefanick of Savannah; daughter, Julie A. Kimbrel of Savannah; granddaughter, Amber Kimbrel of Savannah; grandsons, Blake and Kyle Stefanick of Savannah, sister, Mary Donavan and nieces, Donna Uollett and Diana Donavan.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral service will be private.
